Collectors, press and celebrities turned out to celebrate Vintage Seekers' first anniversary on Thursday evening amid the Art Deco splendour of the Royal Institute of British Architects. A line-up of classic cars outside, including the iconic Jaguar E-Type, gave a hint of what to expect inside. The rarest in design and collectibles included Steve McQueen's original Persol sunglasses, a signed photograph of Marilyn Monroe by Cecil Beaton and a very rare Rolex 1665 'Oman' Sea-Dweller (courtesy of ourselves) among the exhibits. The jazz band played classics from James Bond and the Rat Pack, whilst guests browsed the pop-up display with glasses of Champagne and Gin Fizz cocktails (made to the original recipe from the Savoy's American Bar) .
A very enjoyable evening, best of luck to the Vintage Seekers' team for the future.
