Collectors, press and celebrities turned out to celebrate Vintage Seekers' first anniversary on Thursday evening amid the Art Deco splendour of the Royal Institute of British Architects. A line-up of classic cars outside, including the iconic Jaguar E-Type, gave a hint of what to expect inside. The rarest in design and collectibles included Steve McQueen's original Persol sunglasses, a signed photograph of Marilyn Monroe by Cecil Beaton and a very rare Rolex 1665 'Oman' Sea-Dweller (courtesy of ourselves) among the exhibits.The jazz band played classics from James Bond and the Rat Pack, whilst guests browsed the pop-up display with glasses of Champagne and Gin Fizz cocktails (made to the original recipe from the Savoy's American Bar) .A very enjoyable evening, best of luck to the Vintage Seekers' team for the future.
